Students Named to Dean's List at St. Mary's College of Maryland Students awarded Dean's List honors for academic achievement during the fall 2020 semester at St. Mary's College of Maryland, the National Public Honors College. Dean's List honors are awarded to full-time students at St. Mary's College who earn a semester grade-point average of 3.5 or better on 12 or more graded credits.

Students who earn a place on the Fall 2018 Honors List at Mary Baldwin University must earn grade point averages of 3.75 to 4.00. To be eligible, a student must be a degree candidate and must have earned at least 12 semester hours for the grading period.

Loyola University Maryland has announced the members of its fall 2018 Dean's List. In order to qualify for the Dean's List at Loyola, a student must achieve a minimum QPA of at least 3.500 for the term, provided that, in the term they have successfully completed courses totaling a minimum of 15 credits.

The fall 2018 music gala at Eastern Mennonite University will highlight the university's many ensembles - and a "lullaby" requiem. The annual event is 7-9 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 17, in Lehman Auditorium, with a freewill offering to benefit the music scholarship fund. The first half of the concert will feature the EMU jazz and wind ensembles conducted by Bob Curry and the orchestra conducted by Benjamin Bergey . In the second half, Professor Ryan Keebaugh will conduct the combined choirs and orchestra in a performance of Gabriel Faure's Requiem Mass. The evening ranks among concerts at EMU as "one of the biggies," said Professor James Richardson , music department chair. "It's a uniquely combined effort," he said. "You'll see faculty performing along with students - part of the ethos of our department's sense of community." That community includes music majors but also other students, as "many of the people that make up our ensembles are doing it for their own edification - and we like that," he said. "We have open doors."

Students have been named to the University of Delaware Dean's List for the Spring 2018 semester.

To be eligible for the Dean's List, degree-seeking students must have earned a GPA of at least 3.5 for a minimum of nine semester hours of academic credit taken at Georgia State during the fall or spring term with no incompletes for the semester. Eligible students must have a minimum GPA of 2.0 for all classes taken at Georgia State.

This award recognizes a graduating student or students with the highest GPA achieved in the respiratory therapy progam.

The Lambda Beta National Honor Society was formed in 1986 to promote, recognize and honor scholarship, scholarly achievement, service, and character of students, graduates, and faculty members of the profession.

The Alpha Eta National Honor Society promotes and recognizes significant scholarship, leadership, and contributions to the allied health professions. Baccalaureate degree candidates who have maintained an overall GPA of 3.5 or better are eligible for induction. The Alpha Eta motto is "Together We Serve" to represent all of the allied health professions. Georgia State University became a founding member of the Alpha Eta in March 1975.
